Dinner Time!!!

I started Aiden on cereal when he was four months old, well recently I decided to try him on regular baby food, probably a couple weeks ago. I have tried bananas,apple sauce and a german baby food, I think it was chicken and carrots. well he loves his baby food. I have bought sweet potatoes, but I have not tried them yet. Oh he also loves his apple juice, which is german brand also. I have a friend who is german and she said the german baby food is really good, so I tried it and Aiden agrees. But when Aiden is eating he likes to rub his hands on his mouth and then all over his eyes. At dinner tonight he managed to get his food up and around his eyes, so adorable.

First Mother's Day!!

Today was my first Mother's Day with my precious baby boy. We woke up around six and laid in bed together for about an hour, then we got up I made me some coffee, then the funnest part of our day was giving Buster a bath...lol it was a blast. Then I got Aiden a bath and then I got ready for chapel. When we got to chapel, they gave all the mothers a flower and a mug, then i got a book, The five love languages, for being the youngest mother. Thank you Aiden for making mommy the youngest mommy at chapel, I love you. Then we came home, cleaned and we laid on the couch together and took a nap. A peaceful and very lonely mother's day. I was missing my family and of course my wonderful hubby.

Buster's Bath Time

I gave Buster a bath this morning to help him look less of a bum and more like a dog, until I can find someone to shave him, which I have a couple people looking and Monday I will call the vet clinic to get some numbers from them. But any ways, Buster has got to be the best dog, when it comes to getting a bath. I can walk out of the bathroom for 5 mins and he will stay in the bathtub. I love Buster very much, but some days he gets a case of the bad bug, real bad.

Friday night dinner!!!

Last friday I went to my frist dinner with all the other wifeys and again this Friday, we had a blast, again got to see another side of some of the ladies, but it was a good side. I always have a blast, I have some good friends over here and of course they make the deployment alot easier. After every chocolate, fruit and pretzels. YUMMY!!!! Like Madeline and Lindsay C. say friday's don't count on the workout and diet plan...lol.

5 months old!!!

My little monkey man turned 5 months old on tuesday, I can't believe it, time is going by so fast. I love that little boy with all my heart. I didn't fully know what unconditional love was until I had Aiden, it's the best type of love ever. Well Aiden loves his little red monkey that grandma Tammy got him. He has pushed the buttons a couple times. He has been trying to roll over and he has the cutest little laugh I have ever heard.And yes he is teething and can be very cranky at times. He has started growing so fast, he is, I think the doctor said he was 26 in. long at his 4 month well baby, he is now wearing mostly 6-9 monthes and can still fit into some 3-6 months. So he has caught up pretty good.

Aiden is getting big, he found his feet now, and he is laughing at every thing. He loves his daddy and misses him very much. Oh he is loving being a Mariners fan like his daddy.

Ladies Night!

Every Friday a group of women get together who live on post and have dinner and sit around and talk. All of these women hae children and most of their husbands are deployed, well every bodies husbands are deployed except for two, but they don't come over. I met some of these women by going to the gym or PWOC. These ladies have made this deployment a lot easier to get through, they are amazing friends and I feel very blessed. Well last night I didn't get home until after 1 a.m., wow what a PARTY ANIMAL huh...yay right. I didn't drink and grown up drinks, but it felt good being around other women going through the same thing. We ate sooo much food and drank sooo much pop, I felt so bloated that I had to go to the gym today. But I had a really fun time. Can't wait for next friday.
