Aiden the Terror!!!

Aiden is now 13 months and in to everything. He started pulling the dvds out again, he stands up in his chair and he has even said the SH word a couple times. So part of my New Years resolution is to stop saying bad words. He thinks it's funny to hit Buster, and Buster being the best dog he can be, just lays there and takes it. I was playing super mario on the wii the other night and Aiden walked up and turned the wii off. He can climb up on the couch and he is leaning how to get down the right way. He loves baby Enstines and yes even though Christmas is over he still watches the Grinch. It is his favorite movie. If I am cleaning and Aiden is fussy I put the Grinch in and he will watch it forever. He likes to take showers, if I give him a bath he will take the plug completly out and thinks its funny. Last night Kirk had to go pick up a friend from Frankfurt so it was just me and Aiden for dinner. So I made some speghetti and green beans and thats what we had for dinner. Well Aiden is a messy eater that is for sure. He tried getting noodles off his plate with is mouth instead of using his hands. I tried getting a picture of it, but I just wasn't fast enough. Aiden loves to dance to anything he thinks is music. We havn't got to the extreme fit throwing yet. But he sure is at the clingy stage and if I leave the room he starts to cry. Kirk gets a little irratated with it, but I say it's a stage, and he will grow out of it...LOL just right now Kirk is playing Madden and I asked him to help me wit something and Aiden went and un paused it and well kirk said he lost 20 yards.

Mallorca, Spain!!!

We went to spain about a month ago, it was fun. It was just Kirk and I, Aiden stayed with Jeanette and Dale. The trip started out good. We landed in Mallorca, got our rental car and found our motel. We couldn't check in for a couple hours, so we walked around and we found a little cafe on a corner and a home girl to make us a chicken sandwhich, and it was delicious. Then we got a fresh baguette and walked around some more. Then we finally got to check into our room and shower. We finally headed out again, and walked around the old part of the town, where the castle and church were. Then one of the days we went to the caves. It was across the Island and it only took us less then an hour to get there. The tour of the caves we pretty cool. Then we went and walked around Porto Cristo. Which it was so much prettier there then it was in mallorca. Then the third day, is when we went back into Mallorca and we toured the castle, which it was pretty much like all the other castles you see. Then we went into the church and it was breath taking, but of course you can't take pictures. After that we went into a couple of gift shopes and picked up some things for our family. This how ever was the day the gypsie girls stoll my 50 euro right from me. I was so angry, I wish I would of slapped them, but being who I am, I didn't and I was in another country. That kinda a put a damper on the trip for me. But you live and learn. So pretty much the rest of the trip we just relaxed and went for a run. We will go back again, but next time, we won't carry our purse or wallets and we are taking Aiden. I missed my baby way too much.

New Years in Austria!!!

For New Years eve we decided to go to Austria with our friends Shawn and Carolina and their little girl. We left at 6 am, so we could get there early and have the whole day there. We went to the christmas market in St. wolfgang. We ate so much food, but I think that is the best one, because they don't have the same types of foods as the ones in Germany have. They have this amazingly delicious cheese bread, they have bread bowls, waffles on a stick, I had one dipped in chocolate and sprinkles, even Aiden had a few bites. They also had horse carriages and every time they would pass Aiden he would get excited and smile and start to dance, I think his Christmas Present from Hidie and Charles had something to do with that. After the market we went back to the room and started drinking, we went to dinner with Jorg and Lidia and then it was back to the guest house to drink some more and Bring in the new year..except Aiden wasn't having the fireworks, they scared him, so Me and Aiden rang in the New Year just me and him in the room. So I didn't get my new Years kiss from my hubby =(.. Then we got up the next morning and went to salzburg, It was so nice there, we stayed there for about 2 1/2 hours, we bougth a coocoo clock and Aiden and awsome beenie. We also found out that Buster likes to ride in the bottom of the stroller.

Aiden's first christmas present!

Tonight we went over to visit with Hidie and Charles. We took over there christmas presents and Hidie opened the present Aiden made her. Just to fill you all in, Aiden made each of his Grandma's a little something. Well Hidie couldn't wait until christmas day for Aiden to get his present, so they let him open it early. They got him a Rocking Horse and Aiden loves it. It makes noise when you push the ears and Aiden dances to it and the mouth even moves. He was so cute, we think in a week he will know how to rock back and fourth. He kinda knows how to rock, but it will improve..

Christmas Markets!!!

Last year was our first winter in Germany, we came to find that we loved the christmas markets. The smell of the kinder punch and the hot wines in the air, along with the brauts and crepes. It smells amazing at christmas markets. This year we have made it to three different ones. Ansbach, Rothenburg and Berlin. Berlin has a lot of little Christmas markets, I think we made it to three different ones in Berlin. One of the ones in Berlin had these little dougnuts that Kirk and Dwendell feel in love with. They kept going back for more, they even had me take a picture of them infront of the booth. Saturday we attempted our fourth on in Nuremburg, but Aiden had already been cranky that whole day and he decided once we got off the train that he was gonna start crying, I guess it didn't help that I took his bisquit away to put his coat on, plus he was tired and he is getting his molars in. But we are going to attempt the Nuremburg market again, but this time we are taking the stroller so if he gets tired he can lay back and go to sleep. Wish us luck =)

12 months old...Happy birthday Aiden!!!!

12 months ago on December 4th at 10:24 am at Rothenberg Hospital after being stuck in there for 2 long weeks I finally had my precious baby boy. As soon as they laid him on the my chest I knew my love for him was always going to be so strong, it's a love I can never doubt. He started taking a couple steps here and there on Thanksgiving, then he just walked when we had company over, he liked to show off...I wonder where he gets that from??? Kirk Perhaps!!! Then it wasn't until a couple days before his birthday he actually started walking. We had his first birthday last saturday along with Brayden since they where born the same day. We had a good turn out at the birthday, alot of little ones running around and having a good time. When it came time for the cake Aiden didn't hesitate to get into his cake. He stuck his face right into it. He wasn't sure about opening presents, so Kirk and I helped. He is now saying more words and trying to copy what people say. He says hi, up, whats that, at least thats what we think he is saying.

Paella, Sangria and an Irish Car Bomb!!!

Tonight was our last nigth in Mallorca,so we decided to have an authentic spanish meal, which in this area is Paella. It is a rice dish with different types of meat, ours had shrimp, oster's, squid and octopus. Usually with the shrimp you have to pop the heads off, but we got one that was already pealled. It wasn't as bad as we thought, it was actually one of the best meals we had here. The oster's pretty much tasted like clams, the squid tasted like chicken, and the octopus tasted..well like tuna...and then we got a pizza just incase we didn't like the paella. At least now we can say we tried something totally different. Yesterday we also tried Sangria for the fisrt time. It is a wine with, liquor, lemon juice and fruit. It is really sweet and you can barely taste the alcohol in it. I also tried an Irish car bomb for the first time, that stuff sneaks up on you bad. It is guinness beer and Baileys Irish cream, you drop the shot of baileys in the guinness and chug it, boy did it get me feeling a little tipsy...So our last night in MAllorca, Spain was all around relaxing and fun!!
