Aiden's first christmas present!

Tonight we went over to visit with Hidie and Charles. We took over there christmas presents and Hidie opened the present Aiden made her. Just to fill you all in, Aiden made each of his Grandma's a little something. Well Hidie couldn't wait until christmas day for Aiden to get his present, so they let him open it early. They got him a Rocking Horse and Aiden loves it. It makes noise when you push the ears and Aiden dances to it and the mouth even moves. He was so cute, we think in a week he will know how to rock back and fourth. He kinda knows how to rock, but it will improve..

Christmas Markets!!!

Last year was our first winter in Germany, we came to find that we loved the christmas markets. The smell of the kinder punch and the hot wines in the air, along with the brauts and crepes. It smells amazing at christmas markets. This year we have made it to three different ones. Ansbach, Rothenburg and Berlin. Berlin has a lot of little Christmas markets, I think we made it to three different ones in Berlin. One of the ones in Berlin had these little dougnuts that Kirk and Dwendell feel in love with. They kept going back for more, they even had me take a picture of them infront of the booth. Saturday we attempted our fourth on in Nuremburg, but Aiden had already been cranky that whole day and he decided once we got off the train that he was gonna start crying, I guess it didn't help that I took his bisquit away to put his coat on, plus he was tired and he is getting his molars in. But we are going to attempt the Nuremburg market again, but this time we are taking the stroller so if he gets tired he can lay back and go to sleep. Wish us luck =)

12 months old...Happy birthday Aiden!!!!

12 months ago on December 4th at 10:24 am at Rothenberg Hospital after being stuck in there for 2 long weeks I finally had my precious baby boy. As soon as they laid him on the my chest I knew my love for him was always going to be so strong, it's a love I can never doubt. He started taking a couple steps here and there on Thanksgiving, then he just walked when we had company over, he liked to show off...I wonder where he gets that from??? Kirk Perhaps!!! Then it wasn't until a couple days before his birthday he actually started walking. We had his first birthday last saturday along with Brayden since they where born the same day. We had a good turn out at the birthday, alot of little ones running around and having a good time. When it came time for the cake Aiden didn't hesitate to get into his cake. He stuck his face right into it. He wasn't sure about opening presents, so Kirk and I helped. He is now saying more words and trying to copy what people say. He says hi, up, whats that, at least thats what we think he is saying.

Paella, Sangria and an Irish Car Bomb!!!

Tonight was our last nigth in Mallorca,so we decided to have an authentic spanish meal, which in this area is Paella. It is a rice dish with different types of meat, ours had shrimp, oster's, squid and octopus. Usually with the shrimp you have to pop the heads off, but we got one that was already pealled. It wasn't as bad as we thought, it was actually one of the best meals we had here. The oster's pretty much tasted like clams, the squid tasted like chicken, and the octopus tasted..well like tuna...and then we got a pizza just incase we didn't like the paella. At least now we can say we tried something totally different. Yesterday we also tried Sangria for the fisrt time. It is a wine with, liquor, lemon juice and fruit. It is really sweet and you can barely taste the alcohol in it. I also tried an Irish car bomb for the first time, that stuff sneaks up on you bad. It is guinness beer and Baileys Irish cream, you drop the shot of baileys in the guinness and chug it, boy did it get me feeling a little tipsy...So our last night in MAllorca, Spain was all around relaxing and fun!!

Mr. Trouble

Aiden has been getting more and more active as the days go by. He is either throwing stuff, or getting into my make-up bag and so on. Well tonight he decided he was going to show off for Jork and Lidia, so he was walking alot tonight. After dinner, I was picking up a little and all of a sudden I see me little man crawling into Buster's bed. I think he might of lost something in there because he was on a mission. Oh and since Kirk started decorating for christmas Aiden crawls around with these gold stars hanging from his mouth, that is his new favorite toy...We finally got some snow here in good ol' Germany and Aiden loved watching it fall from inside, but once kirk put him in it he did not like it. So hopefully that will change once we take him sledding...And another favorite of his is the shower. I will put him in the shower with me from time to time, well I was getting ready on Sunday and he decided he was just gonna climb on in the shower and play in the water...

Update on the Chickenpox!!!

So the german doctor told me Aiden had the "Chickenpox" well he wasn't getting any more spots and the spots he did have weren't going away, so I decided to take him to the clinic and get a second opinion. Well good thing I did or we wouldn't of gone any where because the chickenpox are very contegis. Well it turns out he has this skin thing, which is nothing to worry about unless they get infected, but they seem to be getting better. He is happier then ever, playing with daddy.

Hanger 7!!

Last week we went to Austria to go to Hanger 7, It has all the red bull cars and helicopters and planes. It was pretty neat. I think kirk and his friends enjoyed it a little bit more then I did. I was so excited to eat some Austrian food, but the roads were so confusing, we just wanted to get out of there. We decided to head to Munchen. We showed Rob and Walli a few things. Oh and we had STARBUCKS!!!!!!!! It was a very long day but it was nice getting away from Ansbach..
