Living in Rothenberg!!

It all started when Kirk came home from ramstein, I started leaking some fluids, but didn't think anything of it. Then it started to get worse as the week went on. So on Tuesday morning I called my mom back in washington and told her what was going on. She told me I needed to go get checked out. So im crying by then. I don't think i have ever been so scared in my life. Not for me but for my little boy. Well the doctor who was taking care of me told me that I would need to stay for a few days because they wanted to stop the leaking, so they hooked me up to some good magnesium. A couple days into it I had an allergic reaction so they stopped the magnesium, and the contrations started. By then the doctor had got the test results back and well I had some type of infection, so they put me on an antibiotic. So the few days they needed me turned into about three and a half weeks. By the end of the second week I was done with it all. So I convinced the doctor to induce me at the beginning of my 37th week, and well they did, and it worked. At 2:30 am my water broke. But I was only dialated to a 2. So they sent me back to bed, but I couldn't sleep, I was cramping a little. So at 8:00 am they sent me down stairs to the delivery room to be checked. They told me to go walk around for an hour to get my contractions going regular. It was only 20 mins and I was feeling a lot of pressure and my language turned into that of a trucker's. So we went back down stairs they checked me and I was a 9. Only one more centimeter to go, and it was fast, I guess from what Kirk said I only had to push four or five times and they laid little Aiden Roger Cole on my stomach.
Since Aiden was just about four weeks early still we had to stay in the hospital another week. He was jondice, so he had to have photo therapy and they wanted him to start gaining weight.Which I understood, but being in the hospital started wearing on me and Kirk. After three and a half weeks, we finally got to come home. That is an experince I will never forget, but in the end me and Aiden are both healthy, im losing the weight and he is gaining. Nothing is better then being a mommy, I love it.
