14 months!!!!

Aiden is now 14 months. Time is going by so fast, I still remember having my 5.5 lbs new born baby laid on my chest, at that very moment I knew I would always love that blue eyed boy, even thru his terrible stages. Well he gets into every thing these days. The pantry is one of his favorites to get into along with the movies. He is walking and running, he gets off the couch by himself and Kirk has even tought him to jump on his bed. So when I go in to get him in the morning he is usually standing in the corner of his crib jumping up and down with a smile on his face. He is a picky little eater still, but we are working on that. The other day I was trying to get him to eat a peanut butter sandwich, but he would just throw it to buster, so I gave him some on a spoon, then he wanted a the jar. Let me tell you, it was the cuttes thing ever, he was putting his hands in it and he even tried to get his face in the jar, but his face was too big. The next project is going to take the bottle away completly, I haven't wanted to yet because he is teething and is very fussy. But he does good during the day without it. He loves watching the backyardagains, he stands by the tv and gets excited!!!

My fears!!!

As I sit on the couch and watch Aiden play and Buster and Bitsy run thru the house, playing and barking, I think to myelf, I am only gonna have a couple more days of this, Being a stay at home mom and watch my little man grow right before my eyes. I will definitley miss it. For all who don't know I will start work next week, and no it's not a 9-5 job and weekends off. I have not finished school yet, I still have 65 credits to go, so for now I have to settle for working for AAFES. I hope it goes good, But I can't help but wonder, is Aiden gonna be ok with out me, better yet am I gonna be ok without him. We have not been apart that much out of his 14 months of life. He is on the wait lst for the CDC, but I am scared that he is gonna be sick all the time. I know they try their hardest to not spread germs, but with a bunch of toddlers running around putting their hands in their mouths and touching toys, you get my drift, that it's gonna be hard to stop th spread of germs. I love my little boy to the moon and back!!! But I know he will be ok, he will make new friends and get to interact with kids his age every day. Hopefully one day I can be a stay at home mommy for good, but this is not the time.

The first attempt at a snowman!

Last night when Kirk got home from work, he suggested we go outside and make snowman. I said no at first because I was going to cook dinner, then I was like well the meat has to defrost. So I bundled Aiden up, put on my coat. And we met Kirk and Buster outside. The snow was too powdery to get the snowballs started for the snowman. But Kirk decided he was going to start throwing snowballs at me, so I tried but I totally missed him, then he threw me done in the snow. It was fun, but Aiden was getting cold so we went inside. And today Aiden seems to have a little cold =( and very fussy....But hopefully we will get to make a snowman next time.

Aiden and Brayden =)

Yesterday we finally got to see Jeanette and Brayden, we haven't seen them for over a month so it was exciting. They got here a little after 10 so we hung out and talked and the boys played. The boys are pretty much on the same page as far as walking, Aiden is a little taller but that is because kirk is a giant. Jeanette started feeding Brayden a banana and Aiden usually won't eat banana's for me, but since brayden was eating one he wanted some, so when Brayden was done, Aiden decided to shove the rest of it in his mouth and walk around. Brayden had a binky and well aiden decided he wanted it too, so they stared sharing,vbut Aiden took it out of his mouth the first time and looked and was like why isn't anything coming out. Then he tried giving it back to Brayden, it was sweet to watch. We went and ate at the kantine aand both boys decided they didn't want to eat. But all together it was a fun day.

Finally got AFN!!

Finally after a year and a half we got AFN. Saturday we made the 5 hour round trip to wiesbaden to get an AFN dercoder. Aiden did good for the trip there and most of the trip back. Well Sunday, Kirk wanted to be able to watch the game at home, but the guy who sets the satelite up wouldn't be able to come out until Monday. So kirk decided he was going to try it himself, so he calls charles and asks him if he had a compass, and kirk no thinking told him he was going to tr putting up the satelite by himself.Well charles told him he would be down here in a couple mins to help. We love charles very much, but he reminds me of one of the grumpy men off the movie grumpy old men, or what ever the movie is called. It is so funny, he always is right never wrong, and it is funny. he spent from like 3 ish until like 6:30 ish trying to set up the satelite, so he finally came to the conclusion that the satelite was bad...LOL. So he came back Monday and little did we know that he had already been up and went and got a new satelite for us. It was very nice of him. Well Hidie called and asked if kirk could come up and help charles carry some stuff down. And I said he was putting some screws in the LNB to keep it in place. Well I hear charles in the background tell him to stay away from that dam satelite..LOL. So I tell kirk and so from 10 am until 4ish they were working on trying to get the AFN set up. Well Charles finally gave up because kirk said that his friend who had a compass was gonna come and set it up, but Kirk called the guy who actually sets them up, and they guy had a clear picture within at least 15- 20 mins. I thought it was funny, that Kirk and charles spent 2 days trying to get the satelite and Afn to work and it only took Mr. Rouse 15-20 mins to get it. But that's what our four day weekend consisted of, getting our AFN to work.

Aiden the Terror!!!

Aiden is now 13 months and in to everything. He started pulling the dvds out again, he stands up in his chair and he has even said the SH word a couple times. So part of my New Years resolution is to stop saying bad words. He thinks it's funny to hit Buster, and Buster being the best dog he can be, just lays there and takes it. I was playing super mario on the wii the other night and Aiden walked up and turned the wii off. He can climb up on the couch and he is leaning how to get down the right way. He loves baby Enstines and yes even though Christmas is over he still watches the Grinch. It is his favorite movie. If I am cleaning and Aiden is fussy I put the Grinch in and he will watch it forever. He likes to take showers, if I give him a bath he will take the plug completly out and thinks its funny. Last night Kirk had to go pick up a friend from Frankfurt so it was just me and Aiden for dinner. So I made some speghetti and green beans and thats what we had for dinner. Well Aiden is a messy eater that is for sure. He tried getting noodles off his plate with is mouth instead of using his hands. I tried getting a picture of it, but I just wasn't fast enough. Aiden loves to dance to anything he thinks is music. We havn't got to the extreme fit throwing yet. But he sure is at the clingy stage and if I leave the room he starts to cry. Kirk gets a little irratated with it, but I say it's a stage, and he will grow out of it...LOL just right now Kirk is playing Madden and I asked him to help me wit something and Aiden went and un paused it and well kirk said he lost 20 yards.
